Wealthy: “Into the Word” Week 37

My husband and I enjoy going on leisurely drives to help us unwind and connect.  Recently, we drove up the coast and viewed all of the mansions lining the beach.  Such extravagance!  Yet, I am reminded that my Father is rich beyond all worldly measure.  While digging  “Into the Word” , I read a passage that explained how he shares the wealth with us:

But God is so rich in mercy, and He loved us so much,

that even though we were dead

because of our sins, He gave us life

when He raised Christ from the dead.

(It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)

For He raised us from the dead along with Christ

and seated us with him in the heavenly realms

because we are united with Christ Jesus.

So God can point to us in all future ages

as examples of the incredible wealth

of His grace and kindness toward us,

as shown in all He has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 4:2-7, NLT

I have a mansion awaiting me one day.  God’s mercy is mine.  What a blessing!

Q4U:  How has God’s rich mercy impacted your life?

Every Monday we will be working our way through Anne Graham Lotz’s 52-week study “Into the Word.”    Hop on over to the 3dLessons4Life Blog Facebook Page to join us as we dig into God’s Word together.

  1. My husband and I used to take drives to admire “mansions” around a local lake. But the more I fall in love with my Savior, the more I long to see what He’s building! Love the way you let the Word speak into your every day. Praying for you today, friend.
