I must confess that I still probably know all the lyrics from the “Grease” Movie Soundtrack. Unfortunately, “Grease” is not “the Word.” I don’t care what John Travolta had to say about it. Why is it that my brain easily retains this useless information? In 2012, I seriously want to stop the mental madness.
In 2 Corinthians 10:5, Paul challenges us to “demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and…take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” So, this year, I am committing to memorizing 20 in 2012. Twice a month, on the 1st and 15th, I will choose a new Bible verse and hide it in my heart. Want to join me? I will be starting on February 1st. Sign up by posting your name in the comment section below. Then, we will meet back here in February to share our verses and hold each other accountable.
YAY I want to join you! I was looking for some accountabillity this year. I found you via Twitter from #SSMTC. I didnt get to go this time, but I hope you have a wonderful time! Ive already got my two for January, but I’ll be ready Feb 1. Much LOVE!
Great!! I figured we could do Feb through the end of November and then use early December to review and reflect as we look to 2013.
Dropping in from Living Proof! I’d love to keep up with you on your journey – I’m doing the same! 🙂

do you have outline or copy of commissioning from sat -ssmtc. i was on-line live-stream and i just couldn;t keep up with my handwriting and bits of my old shorthand. do you know of someone who does? i love your site-will bookmark it and get back to it.
Thanks for stopping by, Kathy. We were all standing, so no way to get the wording down if you were actually there. I am sure that if you e-mail Lindsee, she will get it to you. Blessings to you, my Siesta Sista. 🙂
I would love to join, what a great idea! and I would love the “hold each other accountable” part. Some times I just don’t take the time like I should to memorize verses. thank you!
Awesome! I am so excited!
